1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using this chat application ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Harith Kavish provides a frontend-only, peer-to-peer chat application that allows users to:

• Sign in using Google Authentication
• Send and receive messages with other users
• Optionally sync chat history to Google Drive
• Access peer profile information from Google Contacts

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe upon the rights of others
• Maintain the confidentiality of your Google account credentials
• Not use the Service to harass, threaten, or abuse other users
• Not send spam, malware, or other harmful content
• Not attempt to access or modify the Service in any unauthorized manner
• Respect the privacy and rights of other users

4. User-Generated Content

You retain full ownership of the messages you send through the Service. By sending messages, you grant other users permission to view and store those messages in their local storage and Google Drive accounts.

You are solely responsible for the content of your messages. Harith Kavish is not responsible for any content you send or receive.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You may not:

• Send threats, harassment, or abusive content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to hack or gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Send spam or phishing messages
• Share malware or malicious links
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

6. No Warranty

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Harith Kavish disclaims all warranties including:

• Warranty of fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranty of merchantability
• Warranty of non-infringement

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Harith Kavish be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

8. Data and Security

Harith Kavish does not store your chat data on central servers. Your data is stored:

• Locally in your browser
• In your Google Drive (if you enable sync)

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your Google account secure
• Backing up important messages
• Deleting data you no longer need

9. Google APIs and Third-Party Services

This Service uses the following Google APIs:

• Google Identity Services
• Google Drive API
• Google People API

Your use of these APIs is governed by Google's Terms of Service and Google's Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual Property

The Service code and design are the intellectual property of Harith Kavish. You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content from the Service without permission.

11. Termination

Harith Kavish may terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

12. Changes to Terms

Harith Kavish may modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the user's jurisdiction, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
